You can ride unassisted like any regular bicycle or ramp up the 5 pedal-assist levels to feel like you have superhuman leg strength. Don’t feel like exercise? You may also stop pedaling entirely and rely on the relaxing throttle controlled electric propulsion up to 20mph. Constructed of a lightweight aluminum frame and powered by the 500W hub motor with 5-levels of pedal-assist, the bike has plenty of get up and go to confidently face into headwinds or hilly terrain. After racing through the Shimano 7 speed gearing, the Tektro disc brakes will be there to slow you down. The E500’s Zoom suspension fork provides you with a plush ride, helping smooth out the bumps in the road. HUB DRIVE MOTOR
Small geared hub motors produce more torque than direct-drive motors, making them excellent for climbing hills. They are also easy to pedal with the power switched off, making them much more suitable for someone who only needs the power on hills.

AIR FORKS
Electric bikes are unique in that they can go at substantially faster speeds when the pedal assist is turned on. Electric bikes are also significantly heavier, so bumps have a greater impact. The suspension fork will help to smooth out the ride by absorbing some of the irregularities.
